mood: excited.elated.euphoric!
I couldnt sleep the whole night. I felt rather atingled yet apprehensive at the same time wanting to know badly the outcome of my JAE. I was certain that I will receive a message from MOE which will state the course that I got posted into. COOL RIGHT? Modern technology.
Woke up around 8am. God, my phone's batt was flat. So much of a suspense. Umi was excited cos she wanted to know my result before she headed to work. Walid too. Anw, I charged and on my phone. Anticipation. I felt jittery. Then,
I saw.Big and clear.
MOE: SHARIFAH HUMAIRAH BTE SHARIFF,
you are posted to NGEE ANN POLY,
MOLECULAR BIOTECHNOLOGY (N49) under 2009 JAE.
Alhamdulilah. Thank God :) That was my thrid choice but I was still ecstatic! Being posted to a Life Science school in NP! Who wouldnt be right? Biomed is a very competitve course. But, okaylah cause I'll be learining the exact same thing as those students doing Biomed, first year. Fathin, my Gf! Haiyoh, she...suspension betul! The first thing I saw was like MOE:NUR FATH...Then, I wondered, why was her name there? hahaha. I was so blur and all to realised that she forward it to me:/ She is one lucky girl who got into her FIRST CHOICE COURSE =)
Congratulations to all my friends and other Gfs!!!! IM SOOO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS!
I got more delirious when I found out that 6 of us will be going to school together for our upcoming orientation!!! Wohooo! Yeay! We'll meet and have gathering each time we get to see each other okay? @ NP MAKAN PLACE !

I've been at home all this while. Staying at home, behaving, being a good daughter. Reading good books.Doing common house chores and sometimes idle.
There is another viewing tomo. If they like our house, then everything will be confirmed. We'll move out. To where? Im clueless. The thought of it scares. Guess I should start packing my stuff. One thing for sure is that I'll miss the park just opposite my block. That park has fueled me all needed determiation to exercise. Live a healthy happy life. haha.
Fathin's going to PERTH for a family trip. Im excited for her! Tak boleh pergi, happy happy untuk lain orang tak salah ape. Not much interesting stuff happen lately. Don't have any dramatic occurrence, needless to say, vicious gossips going around. Cant be bothered. So, here I am typing anything that is going through my mind. Oh yes, no pilate class this Sunday :/ Adding up to my intense feeling of i-cant-believe-im-not-doing-something, anything! besides reading, eating, idling...so used to mugging and studying. I feel super-unbelievably relaxed. As though I own all the time in this world. There's a negativity to it.Really.
Just being expressive.
1.Now, Im yearning for Portugese Egg Tart
2. Im the type of person who will relentlessly edit
her previous posts when there are spelling errors
3.Want to be infallible yet it is unlikely achievable
4. Never think that match-making is a bad thing
5. Anxious about JAE results.

Ytd, I went to WS early in the morning with Nuraini and found that the Bata shop is not yet open. Fathin who had her morning shift has not arrived also. We were too early. Too excited to grab that job. Hehe. We went to sit outside the library which is also not open yet. Minutes later, Fathin called and told us that her manager was having a meeting at Peninsula Plaza. Astounded. I thought we had to go there. But, Fathin said that we have to wait for her manager to return and we could come again later. We went into the library at 11am sharp. I was looking for good books to read and Nuraini wanted to head home first and see me later.
I was hooked to Patrick Redmond's APPLE OF MY EYE. Then, at 1.30pm I went to WS again for the so-called job interview. Met Nuraini, waited for me near the lift. We went in and saw Fathin and her friend. Waved a little. Then, Lights,Camera,Action...we were aloof and pretended that we were strangers. The lady at the cashier told us to write our name and contact number on a piece of paper. We did that. The manager was not seen. Damn! All the way there TWICE and he didnt want to see us bcos he was busy eating!!! The lady said that he will contact us. Such a QUEER guy! Unbelievable. So, both of us decided to go home.
I decided to continue on my abandoned plan. Me and Hussain met Umi at her workplace and wet to the airport. I wanted to get a new phone. As expected, the promotions were not appealing so wanted to wait for the new promotions. It changes every Saturday, so it's worth it. Both mother and son were famished. W e agreed to eat at Popeye's at T3. Afterwards, we roamed around the airport aimlessly. In intention to feel less bloated and full. I was still hooked to the book. The entire remaining day. It was an impactful novel. Now I shall read the next novel, 2 in one, amazingly. THE QUINN BROTHERS by Nora Roberts-an author that wont let you down.

First and foremost,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHARIFF HUSSAIN!
My little brother turns eleven today. Time really flies. I'll pray that he will achieve whatever he aspires for in life. Be a good son and brother! Stop being so stubborn.Haha. And all the best in his future endeavours! Study hard and all your dreams will transform into realities. Insyaallah.
What I've been up to in the weekends.
Last Sat, I went to Rau's and her cuz's bday celebration at Costa Sands. I made a card specially for her that morning, used pastel coloured crayons to colour the drawings. Then, rushed to Tm to buy her present at Artbox. I thought I would be late meeting Fathin. But, after I met her, we still had extra time to go to the library. Borrowed some books. Then, we're off to Costa Sands in the shuttle bus. We were apparently early. The rest were not there yet. Nurul and Syafa were late as they had work. Nuraini and Feezah were expected to be late.HAHA! The norm.
Called Jannah and waited for her first. Then, the three of us went in together. At six sharp to be more explicit. (: Thirty minutes later, my two other Gf nini&za arrived. Rau's family is very welcoming and super friendly. The food served were definately cooked by her mom and her aunts. The food was delicious. They were Beehoon, Fried Kway Teow, Kuih-muih, SupTulang!, Fried rice and many more.We also ate the BBQ-ed satay, otah otah, prawns, her bday cake. Then, we played the games organised by her cuz. I was totally unenthusiastic. By then, it was night time alr. Rau had her valediction speech *Hugs and Kisses* We recieved our cute goodie bags and headed home. My dad wanted to fetch me. So, I had to wait for him. My Gfs are sooo swweeet! They waited with me. Im happy to have such caring friends. This is a summarised version. For a more detailed review of the whole event, read Far-to-thin's blog.hahahaha.
Ytd, I met nenek! Went to Makmah's place to visit grandma. Im happy that she's healthy and fine. Then, we went to Parkway. I bought my so called JC dream bag at Esprit. Now, I'll be used for poly instead! HAHA. I was super euphoric as it was at 30% off! A good news for waiting patiently. As usual, every Sunday I have pilate class. But, this lesson Nurul didnt come. She was working. I got to use the resistence band for this lesson. It was torturous! I was working on my arm muscles and until now I could feel it throbbing. :/

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMATI AINI HAYATI!!! (aka amati hajer.hehe)
Didnt expect the JAE submission to be very stressful and pressurising. For the past four days, I was ceaselessly reading about the different courses that I'm interested at on the website. Mostly at NP website. I read it over and over again until I was convinced and satisfied. I wanted to think carefully and not to rush through things. I just submitted it just now. I know. I was all jittery. Didnt fill up all the 12 choices. Just half of it.
It's a crucial decision I'm making for my future. Within these four days, I got alot of advise from my family. Some are very good ones but some are not very supportive. There were some who were not agreeable with my choice of going to poly. They kept on insisting that I should go to JC cos I'll have a higher chance to get into Uni. They said stuff like 'I am the hardworking type' so I shoudnt get into poly. It's hard to get into Uni by the poly route. Competitive. Especially for Life Sci courses. There'll be alot of ppl who are single digit scorer. Only 5% can make it into Uni. Blablabla...
Super exasperating! It's as though JC is not competitive. You are competing with RJC,HCI,VJC ppl ok! It's the same what. Singapore, everywhere, people are competing! I know I should stick to what I want. My instincts; and what is right for me. I have to believe in myself and work harder. Of course I will! This is the path that I've chosen with alot of consideration. Tisha is right. Getting into Uni is based on eligibility. Merit. So, I shouldnt listen to those weird and rubbish ideas.
My dream. My aspiration. To get into Biomedical Science at NP. Graduate with a Diploma. Internships with top local or foreign research institutions and companies . NEXT, Zoom into Uni and get my Degree to be a Professional Biomed Sci Researcher! Fulltime :) By the time I'll be 23? Yeah. Then, I can fully enjoy life together with a stable dream career of my own. Shar is very resolute! I'll make it happen! *God Willing* amin.

I was out half of the day. In the morning, my sister and I went to Amati Hajer's house. Sis is her temporary worker. I was strangely not lazy to help my aunt with some of her paperwork. It was damn tedious. I think I'm not innate in doing office work. Im destined to work in a Sci Laboratory! Not that I want to follow Mdm Su's or Ms Chin's nor Ms Wee's footsteps...hahaha!
After we have completed our tasks, Sis wanted to go to that GIANT HYPERMARKET to buy the sweeet, juicy, seedless GENETICALLY MODIFIED tangerines! I Love it too!!! We took cab from Bedok Mrt because I was too impatient to wait for the shuttle bus. Before that, I was approached by some guy asking me to donate $10 for some charity. I didnt bring enough cash. Furthermore, Im still a student okay!!! Not working. Need that money to buy tangerines! Besides, why didnt he approach those ppl who are working? Isnt that more reasonable? Then, this way they won't generalise Sporeans as stingy ppl.
We went straight to the Fruits and Veggies section.Excited!!! Da bayar mahal2 teksi fare.. I was thinking of angkut-ing banyak2 bungkus tangerines! Btw, its super cheap la. 1KG only 19 cents! Cheapest in Singapore. And delicious too :) WE BOUGHT A TOTAL OF 5 BUNDLES OF TANGERINES! Puas hati. I know I'M VERY KIASU. NOT ONLY ME. Singaporeans are well-known for being kiasu. Another customer who was paying at the counter next to mine bought 100 packets of INSTAT NOODLES!!! Worst right! At least Im very health concious. They bought 5 times 100 packets of instants noodles loaded with MSG!!!
BUT BUT BUT...Going home was another story. Before going home, we walked to COURTS to buy sis's memory card. Whoah..damn heavy. I transformed into a musculine lady. Hehe. Then, as we walked out of the building, I saw a shuttle bus. I panicked. I thought it was going off already. So, I was mindlessly with much effort waving at the driver signalling him to wait. Imagine, with plastic bags in both of my hands. The driver waited. My sis asked me to check if that bus was going to Tamp Mrt. Unfortunately, it was going to Bedok Mrt instead. Haiyo! So embarassing :/
I have to submit my JAE latest by tomo before 4pm! I havent seal my fate and future yet! Feeling nervous. haahaa. 12 choices are really too much. Hopefully, Im qualified for my first choice. The places are very limited at NP. Going to NP is a privilege cos I heard that it is not easy to be posted there in the Life Sci sch.

Alhamdulilah. I'm really happy that my parents are proud of my results.L1R5:14 L1R4:11
I feel blessed and bilssful as I've always been getting their unstinting and continual support and motivation. I expected to do better for subjects like Chem, Bio and Emath. Sad. Im happy that I got threes for Eng as I felt that it was tough. Humanities, cos I knew I kinda screwed up my SS but History helped to pull up my grade! and...*DRUM ROLLS* A1 for Mt. Honestly, I was very pessimistic about it as I screwed up my paper 1 part 1. It was out of point.
I was in dilemma. Initially, I thought of gg to TPJC. Then, I start to really think about my interest and how badly and quickly I want to excel in life. I want to do something that I love and have deep passion. I want to do something that I can be adept and proficient at. So, I can be highly needed by the society. I went to seek for an answer from Allah. I was half-hearted. My head was spinning. I was stressed. Did solat Istiharah so that I can make good decisions without feeling remorsed later.
I feel that if I go to JC. It's going to be 10 times hell as compared to sec sch. I chat with Atiqah's cuz who has graduated from TPJC. She answered alot of my uncertainties. For JC, I must make sure I do very very very well to get into Uni. If not, I'll have to go into private Uni. I dont think its good cos it'll be too heavy for walid. Burdensome. Furthermore, after JC I must be clear of what course I want to take in Uni. I'm interested in medicine. But, it's very competitive. Only 250 students per intake after 2 rounds of interview and essays. I know I have to be realistic. Im also keen in the Research and Devpt sector.
Now, I realised that I really want to be a researcher. I decided to take Biomedical Science at NP. An internationally recognised course. I have read the job prospects and course structure. BMS allows me to pursue a career in medical research and the diagnosis of diseases. I know this course is just right for me! Other than that, three students who graduated from LSCT in NP made it into MEDICINE SCH-NUS! MY DREAM SCH! I'll work extra hard and I know I stand a chance! GOD WILLING.

I had my pilate class at 2.30 pm with Nurul. I felt a little at ease for this lesson. Maybe because I've been very enthu practising at home. Today's lesson was not as hellish as last week's. I can still feel my muscles all over my legs "stretched and taut". At least I could forget about tomo's result day for the next hour. After class, Nurul set off to her next class. Malay dance. Very enthu also. I thought of enrolling for Bellydancing..hmm see first. No member ar.
I met Tisha and Uncle Rudi at the bus stop near the bubble tea shop. Haiyo..y so explicit? Nvm.
We are supposed to have lunch together with sis but she still busy shopping with her friends at town. She didnt know we're going to FISH & CO. If she knew Im sure she'll tag along. Next time sis! We went to the airport branch. I ate Fish and Chips. I also shared JUNGLE FREEZE with them. It's a huge gigantic collosal DRINK. I think it can take up to 4 ppl to finish it up! I was surfeited. It was super delicious. The fish was extra big than the normal fish&chips I've eaten. HAHA. All and all. I had a great experience. I also ate SWORDWISH! haha. Ate some of Tisha's swordfish ler.
I kind of troubled them a bit. I went with them with my pilate mat. Uncle Rudi had to carry that strapless rolled up mat.Hehe. He surrendered that he wanted to go to a sport shop to buy the 'strap' or just the bag. Apparently, just the bag is not for sale! At last, my dearest aunty sponsored me a netlike multipurpose bag for my convenience.HAHA. We went to walk around Terminal 3 and nibbled on those super sweet brownies before we headed home.

I've been having dreams about going to sch and waiting patiently for the Os results! When I was dreaming, my heart was beating rapidly! It was surreal. Very queer. However, I am preety excited and nervous at the same time. A mixed up feeling, but, I want to get it over and done with quickly. Honestly, I kind of miss wearing my sch uniform. I'll wear it today and for the LAST time on MON 12DEC!
Later at 2pm, Im going to PasirRisEast CC to collect my EdusaveScholarshipBursary!Yaayy!
I'll be $500 RICHER! That explains why I've been very lazy and cant be bothered to work. Sort of laa..HAHA (: Another, $150 to be collected in sch. EaglesAward. Didnt expect to get it!
Rezki ALLAH kebas ajerlah.hehe. I really need a lot of cash now.For my Back to sch expenses! Im so gonna buy that adidas running shoes! RED Colour!!!

I was tirelessly movie-hopping. I was hoping to watch something pleasurable. Something close to my heart. Then, I came to remember a movie that I loved. It's THE CHOIR aka LES CHORISTES in French. I first watch it in 2005 with Siglap choir. Ms Tan, my choir teacher and instructor then, brought the disc and the new Sec 1 badge watched it together.
When I hear the boys sing for the first time, I was inspired with awe. They sang beautifully, very angelic. Especially, this lead actor- a charming boy who gets to sing solo! I had goosepimples. It's a pity that Ms Tan had to leave that year. She is a very dedicated tcr who formed the Siglap choir and had faith and confidence in us. When I was a junior chorister, I remembered how hard I would try to sing beautifully. Passion for singing has to be innate before you can sound good. Singing has many techniques to master and it's not easy. To have a 'voice of an angel' is a gift. A knack, a talent that no one can snatch it from you.
Choir has left me with so much precious memories. Singing with my friends after a stressful day in school has made me contented and happy. I really thank all my friends for all their support and motivation. I will cherish the times when we sang at MDIS. It was blissful. I had a duo part with Eugenia and it took alot of courage to sing in front of a huge group of people. I was shaking nervously during the rehearsal that the stage was vibrating!!! haha.
Cest La Vie, Tcr's Day, Honour's Day, Chinese New Yr and of cos SYF 2007.
It's a performers' life.
Hours and hours of practise to sound good for the real show which lasts for less than 10 minutes.

It's been quite some time since I last update. Im so glued to the screen watching awesome
J-dramas. Hmm.. They're totally a MUST WATCH!
HanaYoriDango Season 1 and 2. Tho, I've watched the final movie of HYD months ago at cineplex..It's Greeaattt watching it all over again.
I just finished watching Hana Kimi. Now, busy watching the Waterboys.
hahaha. I'm ADDICTED all over again.
Let's remenisce. What have I been doing lately???
Hmm... since last few days my stomach felt like having been infested by butterflies! Mulling over results. Day after day.
Remember to bring your cameras OKAY Girls!!!
Must take alot of 'valediction' photos for keepsake.
The sch hall. Principal. Parents. Teachers. Current Sec 4E badge.
The humongous Screen that will be showing our results stats..arh!
Not too bad. I had a fun weekend. Last Sat, I went to hike at Mt. Faber with my family except walid; along with my aunt n uncle. We also hiked all the way to Hort Park. A long long bridge with good gradient to excercise my calf muscles. I could see picturesque view from above. Next, we continued our 'adventurous' journey at the canopy walk. Lastly, had an '0ishi' lunch at a particular Ayam Penyet Indo Rest. @ Lucky Plaza. But, its undeniable that 3rd dec was my luckless day. Dont really wanna brag abt it. Im completely abashed at the same time it was a foolish, asinine, silly, faduous, absurd and ludicrous lesson cum experience. I didnt listen to umi when she told me that my slippers looked odd; mcm nak terputus gitu la, in the lift. I was not bothered.
So, while we were crossing the road..heading to Kovan Mrt. Aku punye selipar putus!!! Bodoh.
We hunted for a pair of slippers at the Hougang market place and in some unidentified mall. There was none! Apparent enough. I was half barefooted and some Sporeans who are highly likely observent were mindlessly oogling!!! Even in the Mrt while heading to Harbour Front. Shucks. My...what a 'wondrous' fate??! That's not all...I walked around SHOELESS. Protected my precious gift from God aka feet with a pair of SOCKS!Umi was like "You can be the trend setter for yr 2009" More like a fashion disaster. A big fat debacle.
Next drama. My ezlink got stuck in the stupid 'top up' machine.
SORRY FIZAH and AINI.It was our neoprint. That little sticker caused a split end on the card and made it stuck.Unable to get out of the machine.
An uncle who works there came to help. After babbling and throwing our neoprint away secretly..He was saying..
"Where is your shoe? Why are you not wearing any?"
Arhh..Kaypo pulak apek tu. Menyampah aku. Menyibuk no. satu. Da lah tu, gambar aku main pandai2 buang!!! Bodoh.
4dec.
I had my FIRST pilate class with Nurul.
She registered on the day itself. So, we were a little late. When I stepped into the room, I was being called by someone.Whoah.. my instructor knew my name! random.
She's cool. She had her short intro and we began with the class. My other 'classmates' were mostly middle aged women. Haha. Mostly housewives.
It started out well and fun. But, later on it was infernal!!! It was not easy. Honestly, when I was doing the 'table top' routine, my abs was vibrating so fast. I've got to train those weak abs.
Each minute was tough. My arms and legs felt like jelly. I enjoyed it nevertheless!
